My name is Marc Parroquin and my entry revolves around a trip with my father to Puebla, Mexico for the first time in ten years, which we began on July 19th. Despite having two bilingual parents, I didn't really begin to connect with my Spanish speaking heritage until two years ago when I spent a semester in Buenos Aires, Argentina, hence the Argentine themed profile photo. With my entry, I tried to capture the essence of my father's side of the family and the idiosyncrasies of Mexico in the short time that my father and I have visited as tourists in what used to be his home country.
